Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee financial reporting, auditing, tax preparation, and compliance for a well-established accounting firm. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate tax, financial regulations, and accounting principles to support clients in achieving their financial objectives while ensuring compliance with legal standards.

The firm values practical experience and competency over prestige while a CPA certification is preferred, candidates who are highly skilled in accounting and willing to obtain certification quickly will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate tax planning and compliance , ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, auditing, and tax preparation for clients.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial close .
  • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage financial data.
  • Conduct financial analysis and internal audits to improve efficiency.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to clients or internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting .
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (or willingness to obtain quickly).
  • 510 years of experience in corporate tax accounting .
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, audit procedures, year-end close, budgeting, and forecasting .

  • Experience working in small to mid-sized accounting firms .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively.
