Texell Credit Union, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the nation by the Credit Union Journal, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder to work onsite at our Temple, TX headquarters.

As a Mortgage Closer/Funder, You Will

• Prepare closing packets and schedules and attends loan closings.
• Monitor and clear all mortgage loan post-closing conditions to ensure files are purchased by investors in a timely manner.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and verification of loan documentation for accuracy and ensure applications meet within the established guidelines/procedures set forth by the credit union.
• Order final verifications and requests to include, but not limited to; employment, payoffs, and homeowners insurance updates.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
• Can work onsite at our Temple office.
• Is knowledgeable of mortgage related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria.
• Has a college degree (preferred) or has two to five years of similar or related mortgage experience.
• Is capable of managing and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Is proficient with the entire line of Microsoft 365 products.
• Is a good communicator, and someone who enjoys collaborating with peers for the betterment of the credit union.
• Adheres to the highest ethical standards, and someone who exhibits professional conduct all the time.
