We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team remotely, ensuring that all accounts payable processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Position Overview
As a Remote Accounts Payable Specialist at SJK Steel and Construction LLC, you will be responsible for managing and processing the company's accounts payable functions. You will ensure that all vendor invoices are paid accurately and promptly, support the finance team with reconciliations, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring that they are correctly coded and approved for payment.

Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to vendors via various methods in line with agreed-upon payment terms.

Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts payable transactions and investigate any discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

Vendor Communication: Maintain professional relationships with vendors, addressing any questions, discrepancies, or payment-related concerns in a timely manner.

Record Maintenance: Keep thorough, organized records of accounts payable transactions for audit purposes and financial reporting.

Reporting: Assist with the preparation of regular reports regarding accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate financial tracking.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry.

Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications
ERP Systems: Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

Industry Experience: Experience in the steel manufacturing or construction industry is highly preferred.

Multitasking Skills: Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
