Metro One Loss Prevention Service Group is expanding and is currently seeking security professionals to work in a corporate environment near Roanoke, TX!

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES TO PERMANENT FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE!

Shifts: 6:00am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am.

Pay: $22.66h.r

DRESS CODE: Uniforms provided by Metro One.

DUTIES:

• Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
• Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests.
• Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.
• Monitoring a CCTV system.
• Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior.
• Checking in authorized personnel onsite.
• Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.
• Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:

• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.
• High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness.
• Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.
• Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following:

• Active Texas security license.
• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Security Police, Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations) is a plus!
• Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of active service in any military branch with an honorable or medical discharge.
• Criminal justice degree or Law enforcement, corrections. or military experience is a plus.
• 2 to 4 years verifiable data center security experience.
• 3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience.
