LaSalle Network has partnered with a pioneering premium tax software company, dedicated to delivering competitively priced state and local tax guidance to their clients. As they gear up for the upcoming tax season, they are seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Tax Preparers . No prior tax experience is required; they value a strong mathematical mindset, attention to detail, dependability and at least one year of previous office work.

We are looking for a Tax Preparer to collaborate with this company’s team in Allen, Texas, as they strive to provide exceptional tax preparation services using their cutting-edge software. While tax experience is not necessary, candidates should exhibit a passion for numbers, an eye for detail and a strong commitment to professionalism. Tax Preparer Responsibilities:
  • Utilize specialized software to prepare and review individual and small business tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations
  • Engage with clients to gather their financial information and address tax-related queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Enter financial data into the company’s software, performing calculations with precision using your mathematical mindset
  • Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns for errors or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections
  • Effectively manage multiple client files, meeting strict deadlines for timely tax return submissions
  • Build strong client relationships by providing top-notch customer service and showcasing your dependability and professionalism
  • Stay updated with changes in tax codes and regulations to ensure compliance and help clients maximize their benefits
Tax Preparer Requirements:
  • No prior tax experience required but is a big plus 
  • A strong mathematical mindset with proficient numerical and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail, capable of spotting errors and inconsistencies
  • Dependable and capable of meeting stringent deadlines
  • 1+ year of previous office work is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with using tax preparation software and a general understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • An understanding of tax deductions, credits and exemptions (training will be provided)
  • This is a seasonal position, running from mid-December through tax season (mid-March), and is fully in-person at the Allen, Texas office
  • No time off is allowed during tax season, except for company holidays, which are December 25th, December 26th and January 1st
